Washington County Joins Prescription Drug Discount Program

Washington County is joining a national prescription drug discount card program.

The Discount Drug Card is free to the county and residents. Discounts are negotiated between the National Association of Counties and the pharmacies, and cards can be used when someone is uninsured, when a prescription is not covered, or for pet prescriptions.

Washington County Launches Prescription Drug Collection Program

Washington County is launching a program to collect household pharmaceuticals from residents this month.
 
Expired, unused, unwanted, and potentially dangerous drugs will be accepted at the Washington County Law Enforcement Center in Stillwater. The site will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
