 Mississippi River Pool Four bite is best described as “day to day”, where one day this week it has been easy fishing and the next slower, then the next in between.  The good news is if you work at it and hit a few different spots pay attention to the details, you should get the poles bending.

The City of Woodbury is considering dropping the fee for a round of golf at Eagle Valley, in an effort to increase the number of rounds played.

One of the biggest changes would be for 18 holes during the week or after noon on the weekends.  The price with a golf course would drop from $54.50 to $48.

The new fees were discussed at the City Council meeting February 8th.

The Stillwater Area Hockey Association is getting ready for its players and coaches to adopt “Jack’s Pledge.”  The pledge is the result of a grass-roots effort following the tragic spinal injury to Benilde St. Margaret’s hockey player Jack Jablonski.   Stillwater Hockey coaches will have to read and sign copies of Jack’s pledge.
